When you have OBEs you can receive a lot of guidance about your life about our world and what goes on in it. Really you receive the guidance also if you don’t have OBEs but as we are so involved in physical life we don’t notice the messages so much. Having conscious OBEs while sleeping is a great way of maximising our time, during the day we may not be able to dedicate a great deal of time to our evolution but we can really focus on it while we sleep.
The messages we receive OBE I believe have more impact on a surface level as the act of simply being out-of-body tends to give the messages more strength so they stay with us. Not sure if that makes sense.
When OBE at least in my case I seem to be more detached from the physical, less involved, particularly less emotionally involved, so things seem clearer. Many of the messages are repetitive but I believe this is because we learn through repetition, I hope in the end we will learn from the repetitive events that humanity continually presents itself with, history is just repetition, the technolgy improves but the basic problems remain.
Anyway a message that continually presents itself to me is the number of friends we are generally not aware of. At times I meet people in the Astral who I have known over many lives, as my consciousness is expanded when out-of-body I remember these friendships, but when I re-enter the feeling seems to take a back seat as I once again become focused in this identity. It is so good to meet up with these people when OBE there is a strong feeling of love and understanding.
I think this message is especially important for people who are listening to this podcast who may feel a bit isolated in their immediate community simply because they are interested in or have out-of-body experiences. Sometimes we think it would have been easier if we had been born into a community which supported our experiences and beliefs instead of writing them off as crazy. However, I believe we chose to be spread out, you cannot help people to evolve in their thinking if you live in a community which holds the same beliefs as you do. You need to infiltrate the masses and gently get them interested in the world beyond our present 3D one. So I believe we chose to spread out.
Now Internet has provided us with the means to connect wherever we are in the world, this is one of the positive things about it, it can bring people together. Who knows we may even meet people here on Earth who we have known for many lifetimes though we may not be aware of it in our 3D reality.
There is one guy who makes an appearance occasionally in my OBEs, I have probably mentioned him before he looks like Gandalf and I love meeting him, we have known each other for so long, may even be another me or my higher self, but it doesn’t matter who he is as much as the feeling I have when he pops up. Complete love and understanding, a wonderful feeling!
