Today I’d like to share two experiences that I had years ago.
While tidying up recently I found a notebook, it was half empty but there was an OBE that was dated 2nd December 2015. I thought I would share it with you today.
I put on a theta CD at 5am then let myself drift off.
I wake up as I am floating in the air with the familiar fizzing sensation that I enjoy. I make a request to go to the higher dimensions but instead find myself in a building. I walk around noting just how real it all appears. I look at my hands, even my hands seem really physical. (Often in OBEsmy hands change shape or even disappear) The reality of it all is actually quite shocking. I am following a man who seems to know more than I do about where I am. There is another man who seems to be sorting out vegetables, I tell him he is out-of-body and not to waste his time and put his OBE time to good use (but then maybe he is who am I to judge) He mentions the name of a book but I can’t remember what he said. I turn to the man I have been following and he tells me there are certain tests you have to pass, barriers preventing entry. At which point I begin to fly, as I fly I come up against barriers made of a type of straw, it is relatively easy to get through. Then I come to a door, I know it leads to a different dimension, I open it and go through. The other side of the door is pretty dark, it is as if I am in an enormous rock concert although everyone is doing their own thing, the atmosphere is quite heavy. There is a guide with me plus a couple of other people. The guide warns us about what we will find here, it is the place of personal demons that we can come face to face with on our own. We walk around to have a look, the people there are not interacting with each other, I suppose you could say ‘they are all playing their own music’. Then suddenly the atmosphere darkens and I look up at a balcony, there I see my own personal demon. It is quite a picture. My demon is in the form of Little Red Riding Hood, a little girl in a red cape, the left side of her chest is gauged out and bare flesh with red blood is visible, then I see she is carrying the wolf exactly where her left side is gauged out.
The guide’s eyes change to amber to protect us from the demon, it comes towards us but keeps its distance, it tries to get us to approach it, it threw my car keys down near it thinking I will go and pick them up, but I say ‘I don’t need my keys here I’m out-of-body, my keys are in the physical’. In the end I start to speak to it, by now it has changed appearance, it is tall, a male body with a helmet. I don’t remember what I say but then suddenly the demon changes into a nice-looking young woman with long dark hair. I am a bit surprised as it is so sudden and I say ‘Oh you’re a woman.’ We talk a bit more but then she gets spooked by something and changes back to the demon who wants to hurt us. I talk to the demon, I can’t remember what I say then the young woman appears again. She tells me she has had problems in her life that she had become addicted to gambling. We hug. I then find myself flying through the air to the edge of a cliff, below is a deep, deep valley with buildings. It is impossible to resist flying into such a deep and wonderful valley, I fly into it. I wake up.
When I read this OBE again I did remember it as the image with Little Red Riding Hood with the wolf in her side stuck with me. I don’t remember if I had any follow up OBEs or dreams after this but as the woman and I hugged I presume that particular demon has been faced and the situation resolved. It could have been another me from another life, either way the symbolism of Little Red Riding Hood is quite significant, in one explanation the symbolism of the wolf can represent the hidden temptations found in society which in this case would be the gambling. However, symbolism like this can go very deep and can be worth looking into. I don’t believe that we need to know the whole story to heal, although it can be interesting to delve into what our subconscious mind shows us.
I believe OBEs can help us face our demons, I was with a guide in the experience so I was always protected, our guides know when we are ready and I don’t believe they would put us in situations which we weren’t ready for. When re-reading this experience it does have a rather shamanic is feel to it. In a shamanic journey you travel into the subconscious mind where all our traumas are stored, the subconscious works with symbolism and creates stories so that the body can feel that the situation is resolved. Our so-called demons, our traumas, whatever they may be and from wherever they may come, remain in our energy body and may show up in our physical body at some point. This is why we need to feel the release, talking our way out of our issues is only half the story.
In OBEs you get to be part of the story.
Here’s another experience that came to mind recently while was discussing some of my experiences with a friend over a cappuccino, when I met a big insect.
I personally believe we are being observed by other beings, well wouldn’t you if you were an alien, for want of a better word, there’s so much going on here on Earth in more ways than we could ever imagine. Who needs a Netflix subscription when you can watch Planet Earth and the Adventures of the Human Race.
The reason I believe we are being observed is due to an OBE I had years ago before the internet exploded and all sorts of information became so widely available. At the time, I thought it was an interesting OBE but at the time I really didn’t give it much thought. I may even have spoken about it in a podcast episode some time. Anyway at risk of repeating myself I’m going to describe it briefly again.
I can’t remember the circumstances exactly but never mind, I use the present tense as this serves to remind me that there really is no past or future, it is all present. So here we go.
I leave my body and I get the impression that I am on some kind of spaceship, in front of me are several screens all showing different views of the earth. There is a being behind me, it is a giant preying mantis, I don’t feel frightened in any way, Rather I feel assured, I feel safe. The being is very intelligent and wise. He tells me they are observing the Earth. This is all I remember though if I ever find where I wrote it down there may be other details.
What is interesting about this experience is that it happened long before the internet exploded with videos, podcasts, blogs etc about aliens, particularly the mantis kind so I don’t believe I was influenced by what I had seen or read. I remember the experience was very ‘real’ which is probably why it has always stuck with me. When I heard other people on internet talking about these mantis beings well this brought my experience to mind and I realised that I could have been aboard a space ship with a mantis observing the Earth. To me he didn’t seem threatening,I didn’t get the impression that he was a danger to us, however, I only met one and if their race is like the Human race they may be a mix of what we may perceive as good and bad.
Meeting a giant preying mantis on a space ship does sound a bit crazy, doesn’t it, but why not, why not indeed…as Shakespeare wrote in Hamlet.
“There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.”
The important thing is to keep an open mind, closed minds cannot grow.
So whatever boundaries we may have we should be ready to push beyond them and then beyond them a little more, always transcending, always transcending.
Out-of-body experiences certainly force you to open your horizons to include other possibilities, that you may not have considered had you not experienced them first hand. Other possibilities also within our 3D world, maybe we all live in our own reality lol, once you start thinking about this the brain starts to go round in circles, Dire Straits once wrote this possibility into one of their best songs, in my opinion of course, ‘Brothers in Arms’
There’s so many different worlds, So many different suns, And we have just one world, But we live in different ones.
I think this is a good place to end this episode.
